Noosa Bakery Sold In Two Weeks!

When Brett and Haylee approached Bonza to sell their business they had an expected time frame of 6 plus months, what they didn’t expect was a full-priced offer 2 weeks into the process.

Louisa and her family were in Noosa on holiday, they had made the journey up from chilly Adelaide to enjoy and nice beach holiday. One afternoon while sitting at the ice cream shop enjoying a gelato, Louisa was admiring the bakery across the road that she had visited every day while on holiday. Having owned a bakery back in South Australia, Louisa and her husband were looking to expand their holdings. She jokingly said to her husband, I wish we could buy that bakery, it would be perfect.

After her trip ended and she was at home, Louisa decided to have a look at some online listings. Browsing bakeries for sale on the Sunshine Coast, Louisa noticed a brand-new listing for a bakery in Noosa. As she read the description of the business, a slither of hope began to grow, “could this be the bakery of my dreams?” she thought.

After making an online enquiry, Louisa’s dreams come true, this was the exact same bakery that she had jokingly told her husband she wanted to buy.

The very next day, even before Bonza had had a chance to create the business profile, Louisa and the Bonza team were already in discussion. After consultation with her accountant and husband, Louisa was ready to make an offer.

The next day, Louisa and her husband made an offer on the business at the full asking price. This was accepted immediately by Brett and Haylee and the process of drafting contracts was started.

After a short due diligence period and handover, Louisa was the proud owner of the bakery of her dreams. Sometimes all it comes down to is the right person in the right place, at the right time.
